About Full Moon Momma Yoga
My name is Kami, I am a 500+ hr certified Yoga Instructor with a passion for accessibility, community and mental health activism. I offer a mixture of small group outdoor and online classes. My style of teaching is slower, a more gentle form of yoga - with an emphasis on Yin. What I teach is calming, gentle, grounding, soothing yogic techniques for the average stressed out person. Yoga for every BODY.
What I offer is grounded in my own personal experience with mental health issues, chronic back pain, childhood/adult trauma, and exploring various healing modalities. I did not invent these poses, or their benefits. I acknowledge and situate my practices as a white western woman, teaching a spiritual practice with deep roots in India on the traditional lands of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsliel-Waututh.
I offer profound gratitude and thanks to my time spent in India and Bali, and to all the teachers who have come before me and showed me that the light I needed to follow was already inside me.
